OPL on tour in Russia

OPL (the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra) was on tour in Russia for the first time in its history. Hundred musicians assured two concerts on 9 and 10 April at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow in the absence of conductor Emmanuel Krivine, who had to stay at home due to gastroenteritis.

The head of the OPL was temporarily replaced by Russian conductor Vassily Sinaisky, who had previously worked with the Luxembourg orchestra.

After Moscow, the tour passed through St. Petersburg with two concerts (12-13 of April).
