Russian Ambassador Mark Entin participated in the New Years reception hosted by the American Bankers Association and the American Chamber of Commerce
On January 16 Russian Ambassador Mark Entin attended the New Years reception hosted by the American Bankers Association and the American Chamber of Commerce at the U.S Embassy in Luxembourg, which gathered the most active representatives of American business. During the reception it was announced that Luxembourg has six major U.S. financial institutions which manage assets of 2.5 trillion Euros — their income only for the past year reached 1.5 billion Euros.
As guest of honor was invited Deputy Prime Minister of Luxembourg Etienne Schneider. During the meeting he outlined the main policy directions for 2014 and next years, pointed that the measures to improve the efficiency and the measures of restructuring of the economy will be carried out by the Government in stages, step-by-step to the coalition programme could be implemented for the five-year period. Also E.Schneider noticed that the Government will continue to take measures to create a favorable investment climate to Luxembourg could become more attractive for foreign investors and entrepreneurs.
