Speech by HE Dr. Mark Entin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Luxembourg at the Conference of the Administrative council of the University of Luxembourg

On January 28, 2014 the Ambassador of Russia in Luxembourg Mark Entin took the floor at the conference organized by Administrative council of friends of the Luxembourg University with the speech on the following subject: «Russia and Future of  Big Europe». The Ambassador told about aspirations of Russia’s leaders concerning the establishment of mutual economic and humanitarian area from Atlantic to the Pacific Oceans. He also gave a demonstration of advantages of such project and pointed out key aspects of its realization.

The Ambassador made a full scale commentary on the results of EU-Russia Summit. In addition, he gave explanations on a wide range of questions within its Agenda — such as: conclusion of the new Basic Agreement as well as the Agreement between Eurasia and European Unions, future outlook of cooperation between Russia and EU in the sphere of foreign and economic policy.

The Ambassador also described the main aspects for Russia and EU to become closer and explained how much can benefit all countries together or each country individually.
