The reception of the Embassy of Russia in honor of the sponsors of the Russian Ball «and of the Russian stand at the International Bazaar
On April 23 the Embassy of Russia in Luxembourg hosted a reception in the historic Beggen castle in honor of the sponsors of two charity projects — «Russian Ball» and the Russian stand at the International Bazaar. The grand event was attended by representatives of government, banks and financial institutions, science and culture, media, activists of the Russian community — all those who contributed to the organization of these events. In his opening remarks, Ambassador Mark Entin noted how active the Russian community in the Grand Duchy is.
Vice-prime-minister Etienne Schneider, who assumes the patronage of «Russian Ball», said he was glad to observe the broadening of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Luxembourg. According to him initiatives such as the «Russian Ball» and active participation in the International Charity Bazaar contribute significantly to the further rapprochement of the two countries.
Organizers of the «Russian Ball» and the Russian stand thanked the sponsors and handed over checks to charitable projects.
