The «round table» dedicated to the anniversary of Kursk Battle
The «round table» dedicated to the anniversary of Kursk Battle was organized by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. Among the participants were Mark Entin, Russian Ambassador in Luxembourg, Denis Voronenkov and Alexander Tarnaev, deputies of the Russian Duma, Georgy Kumanev, Russian Academician, Vladimir Roschupkin, Professor of the Military Academy and Steve Kayser, director of the Center for Documentation and Research on Forced Recruitment.
Georgy Kumanev presented the results of his latest research on Kursk Battle. Then the Russian Ambassador stressed in his speech the importance of this battle in the Second World War. In the presence of the large audience he said that humanity can feel safe until it keeps in its memory the pages of the history of this war.
During the conference a ceremony of the investiture of the commemorative medals dedicated to 70th anniversary of the battles of Stalingrad and Kursk to the Russian Ambassador, the Director of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture and director of the Center for Documentation and Research on forced recruitment was organized.
