Wreath-laying ceremonies in Esch sur Alzette and Petange at the tombs of the Soviet citizens perished in Luxembourg
On May 8, 2015 in Esch sur Alzette et Petange took place the celebration events devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War. The Ambassador of Russia in Luxembourg Mark Entin laid wreaths at the memorial tombs of the Soviet citizens perished in Luxembourg during the Second World War.
Along with the public, diplomatic corps, veteran associations, compatriots, the staff of the Russian Embassy and the Russian center of science and culture, the Mayor of Petange and the Vice-Mayor of Esch sur Alzette took part in ceremonies
Speaking at wreath-laying ceremony the Russian Ambassador accented importance of the careful attitude to a memory of a historical Victory over the Nazism, which costed immeasurable loss of human life. He called upon to do everything possible to not let the Nazism raise the head again. He also told about a great feat of the Soviet people who saved Europe from enslavement.
