UN Security Council resolution on Syria

The UN Security Council adopted a «historic decision» and unanimously approved a resolution for the destruction of chemical weapons in Syria. Resolution on Syria adopted by the UN Security Council does not provide for the application of measures to Chapter 7 of the UN Charter, in particular the use of force.
The experts of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on this Sunday began to work on the destruction of the Syrian chemical weapons.
The report of the UN Secretary General on the implementation of UN Security Council resolution on Syria will be presented on 7 of October.
