Grand Duchy refused to give asylum to 74 asylum seekers

The government received 71 applications for international asylum, compared with 80 in January, marking the first February since 2010 that levels fell so low.

Cumulatively, the government has received 151 applications since the beginning of 2013, less than half the figure recorded over the same period last year when 356 applications were received.

Applicants from Kosovo and Albania accounted for the largest proportion with 11.26 percent of applications from each, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. Grand Duchy refused to give asylum to 74 asylum seekers.
