Jean Asselborn in Paris
At the invitation of French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius, the chief of Luxembourg diplomacy, Jean Asselborn, will visit Paris today for a bilateral meeting with his counterpart at the Quai d’Orsay. The talks will be the first opportunity for two ministers to review the Franco-Luxembourg bilateral relations as well as the issues of common interest. Then ministers will discuss a large number of affairs of the European policy before to take on important issues of the UN Security Council agenda. Discussions will focus in particular on the situation of various African countries and the latest developments in Syria and the Middle East. Jean Asselborn will take the opportunity to meet the president of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Angel Gurria.
