Willem-Alexander and Maxima will be in Luxembourg on May 24th

The first trip abroad of the Dutch Royal couple will be on May 24th: they have chosen Luxembourg.

The future king of the Netherlands has decided to come to Luxembourg for a first official visit as the sovereign. The visit is scheduled for May 24th.

 Then the Royal couple will travel to Germany. First of all the couple will make an official visit to Berlin and then to Hessen and Baden-Württemberg.

 Willem-Alexander of Orange-Nassau is the eldest son of Dutch Queen Beatrix who will abdicate the throne in his favor on April 30. She has designated him on January 28 to be her successor, a first king in the Netherlands, where were queens for 120 years.
