Working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand Murray McCully in Luxembourg
The Foreign Minister of New Zealand Murray McCully visited Luxembourg on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.
Murray McCully met Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn. The ministers discussed a development of bilateral relations, focusing on political, economic and trade relations. In this regard, Minister Asselborn stressed on the excellent bilateral relations with New Zealand, despite the considerable distance between two countries and announced a desire to strengthen trade relations.
The Ministers also took the opportunity to discuss the current state of relations between the European Union and New Zealand and to review the major issues of international political events, including issues of the UN Security Council.
